SEWING CAMP
For beginners or returning campers going into grades 4, 5, 6 (or equivalent). Sewing Camps run from 9 am to noon Monday through Friday. Campers learn or review how to use a sewing machine and make a variety of projects like a patchwork pillow, a tote bag, an apron, a stuffed animal, a personalized mini-quilt. Projects are all gender neutral. This year we are trying something new. We will alternate projects so that campers can sign up for two weeks without repeating all the same exact projects. We will have a set of projects on silver weeks, and a set of projects on gold weeks. It doesn’t matter which week a camper does first as all weeks (both silver and gold) are designed for both beginners and returning campers.Everything is supplied, including a machine to use at camp. Campers should bring a snack to eat during our supervised outdoor break. The camp fee is $225 plus $25 for materials. When registering, please tell us the week or weeks you prefer. FASHION CAMP
For beginners or returning campers going into grades 7, 8, 9, 10 (or equivalent). Fashion Camps run from 1 to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Campers learn or review how to use a sewing machine and explore using different types of fabric to make projects which might include a pocketed shoulder bag, a simple top, wrap pants, or a non-gendered romper or shorts. This year we are trying something new. We will alternate projects so that campers can sign up for two weeks without repeating all the same exact projects. We will have a set of projects on silver weeks, and a set of projects on gold weeks. It doesn’t matter which week a camper does first as all weeks (both silver and gold) are designed for both beginners and returning campers. Everything is supplied, including a machine to use at camp. NEW! TEXTILE CRAFTS CAMP
August 19 - 23, 9 am - noon For children going into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grades Introducing our littlest campers to all the textile hobbies we love here at SewGreen. Kids will engage with simple and satisfying textile techniques like hand sewing, weaving, cross stitch and crochet while bringing home finished work they can be proud of. $200, and materials are included. |

August 19 - 23, 1 pm - 4 pm For teens going into grades 7th and up A fashion camp designed for high school students! No sewing experience necessary. Join experienced sewing teacher and young fashion designer Katia Anible for a fun week of creating your own clothes and DIY fashion! $225 per week plus $50 for materials. |

NEW! MINDFULNESS AND CREATIVITY CAMP
August 26 - 30, 9 am - noon For children going into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grades Led by educator and mindfulness coach Nancy Koschmann, this week long morning camp centers around being in the moment and creating experiential art. Hands on projects will be interspersed with movement and yoga. Emphasis will be on enjoying the process and less on producing final “products.” Children should dress to get messy. $200 (materials are included) |
