JULY 2024
For beginners or returning campers going into grades 4, 5, 6 (or equivalent). Sewing Camps run from 9 am to noon Monday through Friday. Campers learn or review how to use a sewing machine and make a variety of projects like a patchwork pillow, a tote bag, an apron, a stuffed animal, a personalized mini-quilt. Projects are all gender neutral. This year we are trying something new. We will alternate projects so that campers can sign up for two weeks without repeating all the same exact projects. We will have a set of projects on silver weeks, and a set of projects on gold weeks. It doesn’t matter which week a camper does first as all weeks (both silver and gold) are designed for both beginners and returning campers.Everything is supplied, including a machine to use at camp. Campers should bring a snack to eat during our supervised outdoor break. The camp fee is $225 plus $25 for materials. When registering, please tell us the week or weeks you prefer.
