In this five day afternoon camp with art teacher Tara Finley, we will explore acrylic paint, collage, ink, and embellishments to make a mixed media art piece or to begin an art journal. This fun exploration will introduce teens to different brands and grades of paint, color theory, brushes and other methods of applying paint, as well as what images you can use for collage legally and what you can’t, glues and dry adhesives, acrylic inks, india ink and then other media such as oil pastels, stabilo pencils, and more.
